Happy (almost) winter break, {{first_name | Ram}}! If you’re anything like me, you’re excited to have some time off to rest and relax, but you’ll also want to check off a couple of to-dos you didn’t get to during the busy semester. If professional development and career readiness are on that checklist, you’re in luck! I’ve curated a list of some of our best resources for break activities.

Meet with a Career Counselor
Did you know that the Career Center is open for most of the break? Except for the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, you can schedule a virtual appointment to go over your resume and cover letter, build a search strategy, or practice your interviewing skills.
Making a List (and Checking it Twice)
A quick and easy reference to guide your new year's professional development prep:
Is my resume or CV, cover letter template, and LinkedIn profile up to date?
Is my portfolio ready to share, if I need one?
Do I know when applications generally open for roles I’m interested in?
Have I started networking with professionals in my field of interest?
Have I followed up with connections I’ve already made?
Did I pre-register for the spring career fairs I want to attend?
But Wait, There’s More!
The Career Center has hundreds of resources available to meet your needs, no matter where you are in your academic or professional career. Visit our on-demand resource library anytime to discover what we have to offer!
